8 Outdoor Uses for The Covert Cooler
Our Portable Cooler is Truly Portable
Although originally made for hiding beers on a golf course, our customers have found ingenious ways of using the Covert Cooler in all sorts of situations. You will be amazed at how versatile and portable the Covert Cooler really is. Here are a few suggestions for your next outdoor excursion. Unlike other portable coolers, the Covert Cooler fits well in a backpack. This makes it perfect for hiking and camping.
Ever find people digging grimy hands into the ice cooler, and then using the same ice for drinks? If you find this icky, the Covert Cooler comes in handy as a small, separate ice cooler. Fill the Covert Cooler with ice. Place the cooler inside or to the side of your regular cooler. Instruct any sanitary-minded people where to find clean ice. Then, kick back, and enjoy your mixed drink--without Joe Schmoe's under-nail funk.
When camping out of the back of a car or pickup, the Covert Cooler provides a great way to keep milk, eggs and meat fresh for longer. Simply place the fast-spoiling foods inside your Covert Cooler and place the Covert Cooler inside your regular ice cooler. Pack the rest of your regular ice cooler as normal, leaving cokes, beer and other items that are less likely to spoil inside the regular ice cooler. Cover everything with ice. This provides your milk, eggs and meat with double insulation and you'll be able to enjoy the great outdoors that much longer before having to run back into town for ice.
The Covert Cooler is small and portable enough to accommodate a variety of modes of transportation. With a couple of bungee cords, you can attach it to almost anything: snowmobiles, golf carts, motorcycles, canoes, or even on the back of a saddle. It's small enough to toss in the back of a single-passenger Cessna and portable enough to carry out to a deer-blind.
A great tip for keeping your beer cold at the beach: bury your Covert Cooler. Make a hole just large enough for the cooler. Place the cooler in the hole leaving only the zippered top visible. Even in full sunlight, the buried cooler will keep beer ice-cold all day long.
The Covert Cooler is perfect for fishing trips. It keeps beer cold on the way out and fish cold on the way back in.
When tubing, rent an extra tube for the Covert Cooler. Lash the cooler to the tube. As you float down the river, keep your portable cooler tube close and you'll have easy beer access for the entire ride.
When barbequing for several guests on a small grill, wrap fajitas, baked potatoes, hamburgers, chicken or hot dogs in foil and place them in the Covert Cooler (without the ice pack). The insulation will keep the food hot longer, and you won't have to feed your guests a piece-at-a-time. |
